Donna Mah MD, Program Head
Our adult gymnastics and fitness program (Gym Fit) is open to all adults, men and women, between the ages of 18-49 (older students who were previous gymnasts are also welcome). These are two-hour classes focusing on strength, balance, coordination, and flexibility using mostly resistance exercises (involving body mass/weight).
These are special gymnastics classes that are based on the interests of the adults attending. These classes are offered at the Kalihi Gym on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 7:30-9:30pm, and are taught by Donna Mah MD, a high school and college All American gymnast, elite coach/judge, private practice pediatrician, sports medicine specialist, president of an 900 physician medical group, and medical director at Hawaii Academy.
Adult Classes at our Pearl Harbor Gym are on Wednesdays, 6-8pm, and are taught by Brian Batson, Christina Opoien, and Jade Dela Paz.
Adult Classes are half the normal tuition rate and are structured to address student interests. However, in general, each class begins with warm ups, rotates over many events/stations, and finishes with a strenuous burnout.
*First time clients must fill out a registration form: Print one out now, or fill one out when you arrive at the gym.
