Yurika Noda

Graduate Research Assistant Volunteer

Ms Noda was born in Germany and raised in Australia, Japan, and in New Jersey.  She was a dancer until 14 years of age at the Irene Fokine Ballet Theater in New York City.  She was a captain of the cheerleading squad during High School from freshman to senior year in Japan.  She continued cheerleading until her Junior year in college, starting at Waseda University in Japan and retiring at Aloha Cheer Academy in Hawaii.

She recieved a Bachelor in Science Degree in Family Resources from the University of Hawaii in 2013.  She is currently volunteering as a Graduate Research Assistant in the Academy's Research Department where she is the head of data collection, data entry, and a fitness testing trainer for the Hawaii Longitudinal Study of Fitness.  She is fluent in Japanese, English, and Aussie, and is quick to help as one of HA's translators.
